Membership
Membership is open to anyone, and there are no fees or subscriptions. However, we accept donations to enable new music to be purchased or hired. There is no age limit to membership, but while we welcome immediate post-pubertal boys, we discourage them from singing for a few years until their voices settle down.
There are two types of membership:

Full members: these are singers who have passed the club's entry audition and music theory test. |
Associate members: these are singers who have not yet taken or passed the club's entry audition and/or music theory test. |
Only full members can sing for public performances. All members are invited to attend club gatherings, for example the scratch singing days.
Associate members will be welcomed to attend the singing classes and music theory classes which they can take at their own pace. These classes are held regularly in Caithness. Each Associate Member holds a development card on which is recorded progress in singing and music theory leading, if the member wants, to take the audition and music theory test to become a Full Member.
